She died on April 12, 2008 at 93 years of age. She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. She the second of seven children. On November 5, 1933 she married our father. They had four children, Beverlee, Clark, Tami and Susan. Daddy died on January 23, 1954 from a cancerous brain tumor. Susan was born 2 monts after Daddy died. Mother moved her family to Idaho to be close to her sister and her family. She eventually moved to Utah. When she first moved to Utah she went to work for large insurance company as the executive secretary. In 2002 she moved to an assisted living facility. When her health deteriated she was moved to Orchard Cove where she was living at the time of her death.
She was a skilled homemaker, loving mother, and wife. She was an excellent cook, seamstress and sewed many beautiful clothes for herself and her daughters. She also loved to knit and do needle point. She made her world more beautiful through her love of gardening and her natural talent for interior design. She had a wonderful sense of humor that touched all of our lives. We will really miss her.

I think this is my favorite picture of all. The pallbears were most of her grandsons and a son-in-law. She is entombed in Salt Lake City, Utah. For those of you who look at this blog and weren't able to attend her funeral I hope you enjoy these pictures.
